Careers Marlborough
This project was a redesign of the very first website I ever built. Lynne, the owner of Careers Marlborough, needed a new site, one that had a few more “bells and whistles” than the pure HTML, CSS and JS one I had built back in 2014. We went with Squarespace, offering impressive inbuilt SEO functionality, a handy analytics setup and a flashy new blog.
It was long over due! I spent a week putting the site together and transferring the content over.

Old site, pure HTML and CSS. My first ever design and build outside study. Basic, static site, functional if anything.
Super rough pen and paper wireframe - plotting sections, elements and IA. Images and links in pink.
Designing in Figma, quickly knocked up, sent to client, then signed off for build.
Wireframe design, close to final layout and placement. A few tweaks, changes and padding adjustments here and there but the final build will follow closely. Branding colours on display, rounded buttons.
New/Current site. Clean, easy layouts, super defined sections and a real focus on delivering a quick message with less wordy content. The clients requirements were meet and feed back from users has been positive. With increased SEO and better Google rankings CM has seen an increase in online traffic, lowering their bounce rate and converts more visitors into engaging in the site than before = Success!
